Even after a month of no rain, the ‘Hayefield Hybrid’ baptisias are looking terrific—much to the delight of local bumblebees, who are helping to ensure a good seed harvest. Elegant in its typical species form, Miami mist (Phacelia purshii) has some interesting variants as well.
