Streptanthus insignis (Plumed Jewel Flower) [15 Seeds]

Germination Information: Based on my own experience, I recommend sowing in a pot indoors, under lights, in early to mid spring. Barely cover the seeds with growing medium, or just press them into the surface. I sowed on March 20 on a heat mat, and the first sprouts appeared on March 28. I transplanted them outdoors in April after careful hardening-off. You could try direct-sowing instead, but I didn’t have much luck with that this year. (By the time the seeds germinated, we were have an unusually hot spell, and those seedlings were stunted and never did much.)
