Description

Frost grass (Spodiopogon sibiricus), also known as graybeard grass or Siberian graybeard, is a clump-forming, warm-season grass with airy panicles in late summer. The green leaves are held horizontally on the 5- to 6-foot-tall stems, giving the plant a bamboo-like look; they turn orange-yellow or burgundy red in fall. Full sun. Perennial; Zones 4 or 5 to 8.

Collected in September 2022. At least 30 seeds.

Please read the germination information as well before ordering.
