Pimpinella major ‘Rosea’ (Burnet Saxifrage) [15 Seeds]

$4.75

Germination Information: I recommend these seeds only for gardeners who have experience with challenging perennial seeds, because they may require some patience and experimentation. The easiest approach is to surface-sow the seeds (just pressed into the growing medium) in early fall to late winter, setting them outdoors in a spot protected from mice so they can get a natural chilling (cold-moist) period and then germinate when conditions are right in spring. (Seeds from 2022 that I winter-sowed on December 25, 2022 started sprouting on April 8, 2023; your experience will likely vary.) Expect germination to be slow and erratic.

If you sow after February, give the sown pot an artificial chilling period of about a month.
