Phaseolus vulgaris ‘Merveille de Venise’ (Pole Bean) [12 Seeds]

Germination Information: I suggest sowing the seeds directly in your garden, about 1 inch deep and 2 to 4 inches apart, a week or two after your last frost date. The vigorous, twining stems will need some type of sturdy support to climb on.

‘Merveille de Venise’ is a pole (climbing) bean with large, broad pods that have excellent flavor for fresh eating as a snap bean, whether you pick the pods when small and yellow-green or somewhat larger and more distinctly yellow. Its vigorous vines start yielding in late summer and continue to frost. This variety is amazingly productive and excellent for later-season harvesting, after many other pole beans are finished. Full sun. Annual.

Harvested in October 2020. At least 12 seeds.
