Description

‘Gialet’ is an heirloom pole-type (climbing) bean with a light yellow coat. To be honest, I don’t know much about it, other than that it has a thin skin and “delicate” flavor as a dry (shelling) bean. I first grew these from seeds received from a bean collector in northern Italy and am offering the offspring for gardeners in the US who are interested in unusual bean varieties in general, or in Italian heirloom varieties in particular. Full sun for best production. Annual.

Collected in early September 2023. At least 12 seeds. Shipping to US addresses only.

Please read the germination information as well before ordering.
