Germination Information: I recommend these seeds for experienced sowers only, because they will require a good bit of patience. Sow them as soon as you get them, barely covered, in a pot and leave it in a spot outdoors where it is safe from mice, so it can get a chilling period. Or, sow in a holding bed, where you can leave the seedlings undisturbed for several years. The grass-like seedlings should appear in spring but might take an extra year if they don’t get enough chilling before the first spring. Expect them to take several years to reach flowering size.
