‘Limelight’ four-o’clock (Mirabilis jalapa ‘Limelight’) produces bushy clumps of bright yellow leaves (sometimes with yellow-green markings) to about 2 feet tall, with hot pink flowers that are open from evening into the next morning. ‘Limelight’ has little to no fragrance, but the foliage alone makes its worth growing in a garden or container. Full sun for best color and flowering. Usually grown as an annual (perennial in Zones 8 to 11).
Harvested in 2020. At least 8 seeds. (Sorry so few: this strain flowers freely but seems to set much less seed than others, and the seeds it does produce are smaller.)
