Description
Cypress vine (Ipomoea quamoclit) is closely related to large-flowered morning glories but looks quite different, with feathery, green foliage and dainty, tubular blooms that have starry faces. I collected these seeds from a strain that produces rosy pink flowers. They should produce pink-flowered seedlings, but it’s possible that some white (or even red) ones might appear in the batch, because the plants were open-pollinated and I grew the white form too. Cypress vine is a vigorous, fast-growing, twining vine that can reach 10 feet or more on a large support. Full sun. Annual.
Harvested in September and October 2020. At least 10 seeds.
Cannot ship to AR, AZ, or TX.
