The vigorous, vining stems of ‘Jamie Lynn’ morning glory (Ipomoea purpurea) produce an abundance of bright green, heart-shaped leaves accented by single blooms from midsummer to frost. The exact color varies through the season but is usually near-white to palest pink, with a slightly darker pink center star; sometimes, though, the petals also have a bluish tinge. Overall, ‘Jamie Lynn’ is charming and different. Full sun. Annual.
Collected in October 2022. At least 10 seeds. Be aware that these seeds are from open-pollinated plants, and I grow other morning glories, so there is a possibility of some genetic variation. I do try to keep the various strains separated, though, to minimize the chance of crossing.
