Ipomoea nil ‘Blue Speckled’ (Japanese Morning Glory) [6 Seeds]

Germination Information: I highly recommend carefully nicking the seeds and soaking them overnight before sowing. Start the seeds indoors (1/4″ to 1/2″ deep) in warm, bright conditions in mid spring (a heat mat is a big help), or sow directly where you want them to grow after your last frost date.

Note that this information will not appear on the seed packet you receive.

‘Blue Speckled’ is a strain of Japanese morning glory (Ipomoea nil) with green leaves that are splashed with silver and gray, and single flowers that are mostly white with varying amounts of blue. The markings are primarily tiny speckles, but they may run together to form larger flecks or stripes. Full sun. Annual.

Harvested in September and October 2020. At least 6 seeds. Be aware that these seeds are open-pollinated, and I  grow other Japanese morning glories, so there is a possibility of some genetic variation. I do try to keep the various strains separated, though, to minimize the chance of crossing.

Cannot ship to AR, AZ, or TX.

Please read the germination information as well before ordering.
