Germination Information: You can start these seeds in warm conditions: either inside in late winter to mid spring or outside in late spring to midsummer. Sow about 1/4 inch deep. Nicking and/or soaking the seeds overnight before planting makes a big difference in the speed of germination. Those I started that way (nicked and soaked, indoors and under lights) on March 6 germinated on March 9. Your experience may vary.
