Description
Great quaking grass (Briza maxima) is a charming, clump-forming annual grass. It produces 18- to 24-inch-tall stems topped with dangling, locket-like flowerheads that turn from silvery green to creamy white to golden tan as they mature in early to midsummer. Enjoy the seedheads in fresh or dried bouquets, or leave them in the garden (in which case, the plants are likely to self-sow). Full sun. Annual.
Collected in July and August 2022. At least 15 seeds.
Please read the germination information as well before ordering.
