Anemone cylindrica (Candle Anemone) [25 Seeds]

Germination Information: I recommend these seeds only for gardeners who are experienced with handling seeds that may require a chilling period to germinate. The easiest approach is to plant them in a pot—surface-sown, or just barely covered—in fall to mid winter. The fluff around the seeds tends to make them cling together; separate them as best you can when you sow. (It can be helpful to use two pencils or toothpicks to tease the seeds apart and spread them out over the growing medium.)

If you sow after January, give the pot an artificial chilling period of about 2 months.

It is possible that the seeds could germinate if you sow them in warm conditions. But if you try that and no seedlings appear in 3 weeks or so, then give the pot the artificial chilling period.
