Andropogon virginicus (Broomsedge) [30 Seeds]
$4.25
Germination Information: I suggest starting these seeds in a pot, gently pressed into the surface of moist growing medium, in a warm, bright place.
If no seedlings appear after several weeks, consider giving the seeds an artificial chilling period (put the pot in a plastic bag and refrigerate it for 6 to 8 weeks) before removing the bag and moving the pot back to a warm, bright place.
Sowing in a pot in late fall to midwinter and setting the pot outdoors for germination when conditions are right is another option.
Transplant the seedlings (in groups) to individual pots when they’re 1 to 2 inches tall. Use groups of 6 to 10 or so if you want bigger clumps faster, or 3 or 4 per pot if you want a larger number of starter plants.
Note that this information will not appear on the seed packet you receive.
