Two bits of Hayefield news today. First, I’m guest-blogging over at At Home in the Garden; if you have a few minutes, come check it out. And second, Daniel and Duncan finally have their own page here, at About the Alpacas. They figure that with other alpacas getting their shot at stardom in commercials and on late-night television, it’s their turn to act as ambassadors of alpacadom. At least they haven’t asked to have their own blog – yet.

Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day – October 2009

“An embarrassment of riches” is the phrase that came to mind when I was trying to choose images for this month’s Bloom Day post. There were just too many for only one post, and anyway, it’ll soon be time for the Hayefield contribution to The Fall Color Project at The Home Garden. And then, I’m thinking, it’ll be time for a celebration of seedheads. But for now, it’s time to focus on the flowers.
